Tayvion Tervell Washington
Obituary

Tayvion Tervell Washington was born February 21, 2001 in Aurora, Colorado to his adoring mother, Saundra Kay Huggins and his father, Curtis Washington. Tayvion grew up with two sisters Alexus Renee Thompson and Re’Azhana Miracle Critton.  As a kid Tayvion feared nothing, he fell off a bike and got right back up and did it again. He loved old school music and hip hop. He played his favorite songs and rapped along with each word while bobbing his head and smiling. As he danced, he rocked back and forth moving from side to side while feeling the rhythm of the beat. Music was his way of expressing himself and his go-to when he was happy or sad. He did not meet any strangers. He was a fearless, bright, funny, caring, loving, talented and sometimes a misunderstood young man. He cared for everyone and gave his love freely through many hugs and kisses.  He was a beautiful soul in and out.

Tayvion received his high school diploma in May of 2020 from Northeast Early College. He was a hard worker and shared his talents with UPS as a package handler.  He also enjoyed volunteering to support his community at the local food bank.

Tayvion gave his life to God during church in 2019 at Universal New Birth Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado.  He loved the Lord and knew one day he would meet Him.

Let’s remember Tay as the loving young man he was.  He was funny, always joking, caring, and always giving lots of kisses and hugs.  Let us celebrate Tay’s 19 years of life and thank God for each day we were blessed with him. Let us share memories, dance, smile and love on each other like Tay would.

Those that preceded him in death are his grandparents Curtis Vaugh, Emma J. Carlis, Veola Huggins, Helen Mason; his aunt, Rose Mary Washington, and uncle, Robert Tervell Washington.

Those left to cherish and to embrace his precious memories, his parents, father, Curtis Washington, and his mother, Saundra Huggins; brothers and sisters, Alexus Thompson, Re’Azhana Critton, Tazhaya, Izira, Nehemia, Zanayah, Zarena, Nezariyah, Nakara, Tattiana, Journi Zekaree, Curtis Washington; his grandmothers, Alberta Huggins, Bernadette Tannahill; his grandfather, Paul Huggins; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A beautiful soul will be truly miss
